Explosive nose, at first glance reminiscent of the fusion of wood and Mandarin Great salinity to the nose, iodized notes, of water of shells; are added then anised herbs, star anise, sesame seeds, licorice A great future for this wine that, as far as the fruit department is concerned, expresses roasted hazelnuts, cashews and baked peaches.
The palate is powerful, rich, very savory, with pleasant freshness. The dry effect of wood tannins is still evident and will make the wine much more refined and elegant with a proper evolution. Long persistence reminiscent of toasted cereals, bitter honey, rhubarb, roots and bark, all connected by excellent salinity.
Grapes harvested by hand from the Cru Brusadilì vineyard. Destemmed with light pressing . Fermentation of the must in new barriques for a month.Racking in second year barriques for aging that lasts a little more than a year, aging in bottle for a year.
